Photoshop 7 - Sending a .tiff or an .eps or a .pdf format.
The illustrations below were made using a Mac but the settings exist in almost the same place, on Windows.

If you are working in Photoshop, send a .tiff or .eps with the following setups. Always save in the CMYK mode and at 200ppi. Do not assign any spot colors, use process colors only

Under 'Image', select 'Mode' and then select 'CMYK' for all images.
Under 'Image', select 'Image size' and choose the resolution of '200 pixels/inch'. Only choose 'resample' if you plan to reduce this image. Do not choose 'resample' if you plan to enlarge this image.
When you are ready to save your image, choose the following formats....tiff; .eps or .pdf. See the illustrations below for each format:
